Why can't I log in to access Library resources?

Answer

Online library resources including databases A-Z, journals, and the library discovery search are available to current Faculty, Staff, and Students. If you are a community user or alumni, please view our visitor services that we offer on the library website.

Here are a few steps that can help if you are having problems accessing your library account and resources.

Use Your UA Little Rock Email Address

Let’s make sure you are at the right screen (pictured below) and using the right username. If you do not see the screen below, please send us a chat or email so we can further troubleshoot. Use your UA Little Rock email address as your username and the password that goes with your email.  It is the same information you use to sign on to Blackboard. Be sure to include the @ualr.edu. Here's an example: yourusername@ualr.edu.

Still Having Issues?

Let’s continue troubleshooting. Try clearing your browser cookies and cache (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari [Phone], Safari [Mac]) or switching browsers. For example, try switching to Firefox if you're using Chrome or Chrome if you're using Safari.

If that doesn’t work, you may need to create a new password in BOSS. To create a new password, log in to BOSS and select Personal Information > System Accounts & Change Passwords.*  Clear your browser cookies and cache again after creating a new password in BOSS.

*Once you create a new password, any wireless devices previously registered to use UALR-WiFi or UALR-IoT may prompt you to re-enter your new password. You may need to remove or forget the UALR-WiFi or UALR-IoT wireless networks
